Frequently Asked Questions

What is Forex?

Forex (a shortened form for the Foreign Exchange Market) is one of the largest markets for trading. In simple terms, Forex is the exchange of one currency in to another currency at an agreed cost. Basically, Forex trading is the speculation on the price movements (downward and upward) by purchasing one currency and selling another at the same time. The trading is available round-the-clock, namely from Sunday 11:00pm to Friday 10:00 pm (CET timezone). The average turnover in the Forex market is valued at approximately 5 trillion US dollars per day. Stemming from this, the prices are fluctuating in value all the time, and this, in turn, presents endless trading opportunities for traders.
