The Bid is the sell price and the Ask is the buy price. The Bid price is always lower than the Ask price, and the difference between the two indicators is called the spread, which is also one of the costs of opening a position on any market. Exemplary, if the market window on your XOH Trader platform quotes EUR/USD at 1.13956/1.13967, then this would mean that the Bid price is 1.13956 and the Ask price is 1.13967 respectively. When going long or buying on a specific instrument, your position will be opened on the Ask price and closed on the Bid price. Conversely, when you go short or sell, your position will be opened on the Bid price and closed on the Ask accordingly.
